You’ll find I’m of a most cheery disposition and will make you smile a lot – that’s especially important. I want to help make this a stress free experience. The day evolves around the Bride and Groom and not some upstart of a photographer, so I can be excitable but also patient and can coach you for the best results.

I love people and more than that, observing them, so there is not much that I will miss on this special occasion.

I love the diversity of people that wedding photography allows me to meet, and its easy to get caught up in the romance and splendour of the day. And sometimes a tear in my eye during the speeches.

As well as people I love my animals, especially our white cat Archie and Cockapoo Hugo who hates being apart from us.

This page shows some of the images I have been able to capture – as well as sorting the dress, fetching gear and keeping everyone smiling and happy.

Located in Scone near Perth

We moved back to the area in 2017 after many adventures in London, Milton Keynes and Leeds but now live and work around the corner from Perth Racecourse and in particular Scone Palace where all the Kings of Scotland were crowned (but that’s a long long time ago …), both are great venues for wedding receptions or pre-wedding photo shoots.

Murrayshall House Hotel is barely a mile away which means if your wedding is there I am but a stones throw away, I know the location well and can arrive and leave anytime you desire.

Your Special Wedding Day

I genuinely get excited about being the one you have chosen to capture that most special of days, and promise to do all I can to make you feel special, relaxed and confident at the moment of capture.

I have experience in directing large groups of people so not shy when it comes to being the directing-type but also know when to take a step back into the crowd to get some surprisingly amazing candid images.

Engagement, Pre-Wedding and Secret Proposal Photo shoots

These are entirely optional. It ensures you will have nice shots in a location chosen by yourselves or suggested by me. This is a shoot that can also be post-poned at no cost if the weather is poor, that can’t usually be said for the wedding day. We can get some informal romantic shots as well as some posed of the proposal plus close-ups of the rings/hands etc.

Feel free to pop round – meet me and my lovely wife Jayneanne. Come for an informal chat and coffee and we can discuss a process that suits you both and we can talk about the logistics of the special day while looking at more pictures.

After studying photography for 4 years in Glasgow and finishing with a Distinction in an HND in Photography, I went freelance and travelled the world a bit. At one point I got a job assisting a top photographer in his Broadway Studio in new York.

In London I had photography work exhibited in the V&A Museum and the Golden Square Gallery in SoHo while completing a BA Hons degree in Visual Communication Design at Middlesex University, London where I received a First.

My background is in Fashion and Portrait photography which I have enjoyed doing for over 25 years, photographing people, models, celebrities, actors and musicians. Please find below just a small section of my past work that illustrates this.
